I currently deploy a number of very small computers:
-
-
currently running Xubuntu 24.04.
These contain about 60 programs authored using LCC/OXT Lite that are accessed using a lower XFCE panel:
-
-
The Panel is set to "hide intelligently".
As all my programs are designed on a 1024 x 768 'floorplan', all the monitors are set to that resolution to minimise distractions such as icons on the Desktop.
All the monitors are wall-mounted to maximise room for notebooks, pencils, teddy bears, and so on:
-
-
The programs have been developed over the last 20 years using IDEs right from RunRev 2.2.1 (free Linux version offered by Oracle) to OXT Lite 1.10: as Xubuntu 24.04 tolerates ALL of these this meand I have not had to return to the original stacks to produce new versions.

Re: Richmond's ESL school
I have been using variants of this kind of keyboard to great success for about 18 years now.
