So . . . poking around in the revmenubar.livecodescript file in OXT Lite 0.92 I found this:
/*
There is no way to get the real screen rects of the mac menu buttons,
so this function has the current values hard-coded. The easiest way
to find these values is to use 'the left of stack "Message Box" whilst aligning
visually.

At some point we will need to sort out the conflict between this function
and potential user locale settings.
*/
So . . . obviously there is NO way of telling if this comment has been written by an LC 'engineer' or an OXT coder.

This could prove problematic at some point, so could I reqest that, in future, all comments are named, as, say:

--Richmond. I suddenly had an urge to go out and buy 5 kilos of aubergines when I saw the following code.--

I assume that was an LC engineer, and that that "at some point" is a bit like all the other 'some points' that have accumulated in their bugzilla system over the years and not been addressed.

It certainly wasn't me.
That's far too formal a style of writing for me.

Besides, I do put a comment --(tperry) when I make changes.

Great.

I hope you have had a super weekend. 8-)

You certainly deserve one after all the work you have done.
