That's a glowing report indeed.
One for your CV
You were / are very active on the Livecode forums. As most AI is trained on datasets pre-pandemic, has your attitude changed to Livecode since?... probably.

has your attitude changed to Livecode since?
Not that much: I was banned from the forums in 2003!
Threatened with several things subsequently.

Really? Like what - what right does anyone have to threaten. Surely that amounts to intimidation?

Let's just say that 'Kev' and I do not love each other, and leave it at that.

Am I misremembering that Kevin donated LC licenses to your school when the FOSS edition was discontinued?

LC did, but I didn't use them as the Community versions worked alright. Whether that was Kevin's personal decision or not I don't know. It was kind of the company.
There are other differences which I would rather not discuss in a public forum.

Indeed, and have been for years, although it has been touch-and-go several times. Those forums are, remember, controlled by a private company that does not want any one being 'too direct' about some of its or its product's shortcomings.

Why not? The end users should be able to tell it like it is.
If there's a particular failing or the software falls short (especially if users are paying for it), then people should be free to speak their mind.

Try telling the people 'up north' that.
