I'm sure that digging around in that on my MacOS 9 G3 iMac could prove great fun.

Uli Kister (the author of Stack Smith) did a video 'breakdown' exploring how the original Myst was built with HyperCard:

He's got a bunch of retro- programming videos (like how to write a HyperCard XCMD) on his you tube account. Also videos on C++ and creating a programming language. Good stuff. I wish I had time for all of that.
