As "the people in Scotland" have just released the system requirements for LC 10.0.0 RC 1 it might be time to hae some sort of "Max-and-Min" for OXT:

As I run (X)ubuntu 24. something, and Debian 12, is it obviously not a good idea to mess around with ANY LiveCode version on those systems.
I've always said these should be stated as minimum system requirements for Linux.
However, the difficulty comes with if the media playback libraries available for mplayer in your distribution's repository? There's varying levels to this.
If it's a case of, "will the IDE open and run", then it should be stated as minimum system requirements.
If it's a case of, "will everything work"? - then see my point above about distro repositories.
