If I have a control on a stack I want to get rid of I would expect to be able to press the FORWARD DELETE key and the selected control would vanish . . .
[This works with LC 963]
This does not work with OXT Lite 1.05 MacOS 12

Re: Pressing DELETE on MacOS
I have a feeling this is going to be another one that I can't replicate here.
I don't have MacOS 12 at home.... anyone?
I can tell you it works as expected in Linux and Windows, but of course that doesn't help as it's not what you asked.
Have you got the message box open and have lost focus on your mainstack? - I know, it sounds silly but you never know.
Edit: working fine here on MacOS 10.9 through to MacOS 10.15

No, I haven't.Have you got the message box open and have lost focus on your mainstack?

Why is the legacy 'thing' so flaming sensitive that when you change something something quite unrelated goes wonky?
The BACKSPACE key won't delete something either.

This is what myself and Paul have been lamenting for many a conversation now. How it's all so interwoven and tangled up on itself. You kind of never know what else you might break by changing something. I hope I haven't, so I'm now about to boot up a reaallly slow MacOS 11 machine and see if it works there... I may be some time.richmond62 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2024 4:32 pm Why is the legacy 'thing' so flaming sensitive that when you change something something quite unrelated goes wonky?
(tested in 10.9 through to 10.15 and is working as expected). I can't try anything MacOS-wise higher than MacOS 11 regrettably.

Hang on, I just wondered.
You haven't got a stack open that's trapping the keydown or rawkeydown messages currently have you?

Caught me red-handed.
