Yes, I suppose because it's hard-coded to require an account (and the page to create an account is probably no more), then it'll mean that LC 6.x is dead in the water without some edits to stop that registration dialog appearing as a requirement.

I've had similar problem trying to run 9.6.3 (as AppImage) on helloSystem (FreebSD) in its Linux compatibility layer, if it wasn't for that damn embedded registration stack it would probably work.richmond62 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2023 11:15 am It seems impossible to get LC 6.0.2 running:

If you could create the license file that its looking for in the correct location (?) it might work.
I believe Mark Wielder did make some progress in recompiling the Linux engine binaries, we should to touch base with him.
