Sauce for the goose.
I should like to know exactly where I can obtain the untouched source code for LiveCode 9.6.3. in a form where I can download it as a single archived file, decompress it, and play "silly b*ggers" with it, and . . . Possibly, run off properly compiled IDEs for Linux, Window and Macintosh.

Re: Sauce for the goose.
Thank you very much: just as soon as I get my new 'toy' (tomorrow, I hope) I shall download that and "see what I can see" . . .
My problem is a bit like this:
1. I am sure that I can do a fairly "Quick and Dirty" run through of the code and expunge or replace 'livecode' with 'richmond's rabbits' or something, BUT . . .
2. Am wary of where the word 'livecode' might possibly, if it is removed, might screw up some of the code.
3. I really don't know where to begin in terms of then, taking the modded code and building distros for Mac, Win & Linux.
Having farted around with 'Lite', while what yiu seem to have done (removed most references to LiveCode) is all well and good, the folder containing a 32-bit Windows executable cannot just have an 'engine' replacement to get the thing going on Mac or Linux [ mind you, I might 'have a bash' at replacing the 32-bit Win executable with a 64-bit executable].
Therefore just running an extensive search & replace on an IDE will not cut the mustard in terms of producing full-blown multi-platform GUI-IDEs as per LiveCode.
