Interesting new Digital Musical Instrument from Roli, makers of very cool MIDI musical controllers.

ICYDK, Roli makes these 'keyboards' that are laid out like a piano but it has sort of pressure sensitive bumps and the 'keys' are sort of like trackpads in that you can change the character of the sound when you slide you fingers upwards on the keyboards keys, this allows for MUCH more expressive playing and can then be play more like a violin than a piano, or like a guitar in conjunction with an expression pedal, like a 'WaWa'. These things and some other newer controllers like it, emit MPE(Mutli-Polyphonic-Expression) which is part of the MIDI 2.0 specification.

Roli's new one looks like it adds some theremin action, jam like you're scoring a 1960s SciFi Movie, lol!
